The App requests the READ_PHONE_STATE permission strictly for the following purpose:
- To detect incoming call events
- To read the incoming phone number at the time of the call
- To compare the number with prefixes defined by the user
- To determine whether the call should be blocked or allowed
This permission is used solely for core app functionality.
The App does NOT:
- Record phone calls
- Access call audio
- Read SMS messages
- Access contacts
- Collect call history
- Track users
- Send phone numbers to any server
3. How Data Is Processed
All call screening and prefix comparison logic is processed locally on the user’s device.
Incoming phone numbers are:
- Temporarily accessed during call detection
- Compared against locally stored prefix rules
- Not transmitted outside the device
No personal data leaves the device at any time.

Call Screener:
- Does NOT collect personal or sensitive user data

5. Data Storage
User-defined prefix rules are stored locally on the device.
If the user uninstalls the App, all stored data is permanently removed.
6. User Control
Users may:
- Grant or deny permissions at any time through Android Settings
- Clear app data via device settings
- Uninstall the App at any time
If permission is denied, call blocking functionality will not operate.
